Kesar comes from Gujarat, India, where it is prized for its saffron-colored flesh (kesar means saffron). The flavor is sweet and strongly aromatic with smooth texture. Grown on our family trees in Merritt Island, Florida.
Harvest timing for this variety is still being confirmed; our Merritt Island season runs May through September, and we will notify you when your box is ready to ship. Pre-order now to reserve your box from the 2027 harvest. Picked from our Merritt Island trees and shipped Priority (2-3 days), free to the lower 48.
